GDRA Seafood Boil at The Rustic
Enjoy all-you-can-eat crawfish, shrimp, gumbo, and beer at this event that seems to be the ideal kick-off to spring. There is also corn hole, live music from Jay-B & the Zydeco Posse, and drawings for prizes. The event lasts from 5-9 pm, and tickets start at $10.

Taste of Texas at Dallas Chop House
At the Dallas Chop House, enjoy four delicious courses expertly paired with TX Whiskey. Menu is to be determined, but the dinner starts at 6:30 pm and tickets are $40. Call 214-736-7399 for reservations.
Heros High Tea at Harlan Crow Library
Join the Army Scholarship Foundation for this fine fundraising event featuring royal chef Darren McGrady. Chef McGrady will demonstrate his culinary skills and provide anecdotes of his service with the royal family and others over his career including the Queen, Princess Diana, Prince Harry, and Prince William. The event lasts from 3-5 pm, and tickets start at $175.

Come-As-You-Are Wine Dinner at The Grape
The Grape is sampling wines from Spain at this intimate three-course bistro dinner. The special guest host is Laura Ulman with Victory Wine Group. She will speak to each table about the wines selected. The event starts at 6:30 pm, and the dinner costs $55 a person. Reservations can be made by calling 214-828-1981.
Friday, March 24
31st Annual Bluebonnet Brew-Off at Sheraton DFW Airport
This North Texas festival is now so popular that it has been changed to a two-day affair. Friday features a local and regional “Professional Brewers Showcase,” and Saturday is the the "Homebrew Room Crawl” showcase after the awards ceremony. Expect a variety of vendor tasting booths and even a very popular cigar vendor who hosts educational sessions. The event starts at 1 pm on Friday and noon on Saturday, with tickets starting at $40.

Chili Palooza at the Ivy Tavern
What better way to spend a Saturday afternoon than at your favorite neighborhood bar eating chili? While eating and judging the different chilis, guests can enjoy $4 wells and $3 domestics while listening to tunes from Whiskey Pants. Tickets for unlimited samples are $10 and will be available at the door. The event lasts from 2:30-6 pm.

Hoots and Hops at Dogwood Canyon Audubon Center
Be a part of this unique Legal Draft Beer Company tasting event to support birds and conservation in Texas. Live birds will be on hand to share in the festivities. Additional activities include brewery tours, door prizes, food, and music. This is a family-friendly event and children and dogs get in free. It starts at 3 pm and tickets are $22.
