HG Sply Co. exports Greenville Avenue cool to new Fort Worth hot spot

One of Greenville Avenue's most popular restaurants is taking its mojo west. HG Sply Co. will open a second location in Fort Worth, in WestBend, the new mixed-use development south of I-30 along the Trinity River in the city's University District.
A spokesperson for the landlord confirmed that HG Sply would join the development, alongside previously announced restaurants Grimaldi's, Silver Fox Steakhouse, Zoes Kitchen and the recently opened East Hampton Sandwich Co.
The restaurant will feature a 5,000-square-foot patio along the Trinity River and Trinity Trail, and it is slated to open in late 2015.
The expansion comes at a time when HG Sply Co. is shifting its profile from the Paleo focus with which it opened into a more general-purpose neighborhood restaurant and bar.
According to a statement from the restaurant, HG Sply Co. is renewing its focus on "all-natural ingredients," featuring natural, unprocessed foods. The menu got an update when Danyele McPherson, chef at Remedy, joined the company in 2014.
