Celebrate Belgian Beer Week with craft brews from Dallas bars

In honor of Belgian Independence Day July 21, several Dallas bars are participating in Belgian Beer Week. Your liver can become a full-blooded Belgian citizen as you enjoy some of the best Belgian and Belgian-style beers from around the world.
Monday, July 15
Meddlesome Moth is going all-out for Belgian Independence Week. A tap takeover starts Monday and goes through Sunday. The Moth has everything from Texas Belgians like the Jester King Le Petit Prince to a handful of imports, including Van Steenberge Triple Van De Garre on tap, with glass giveaways each night beginning at 5 pm.
The Bottle Shop kicks off its Belgian Beer Week at 7 pm with Belgian beer flights all week for $20. Each flight has five Belgian and Belgian-style beers. You can add a cheese pairing from Scardello for $5.
Goodfriend is pairing Hypnotic Donuts and American craft Belgian-styled beer on Monday, with more Belgian beers throughout the week.
Tuesday, July 16
The Common Table begins its Belgian Beer Week on Tuesday, and it runs through Saturday. Look for at least 10 different Belgians on tap; flights are $12 all week and $9 on Wednesday. On Saturday, Common Table hosts live jazz and gives away Duvel art glasses.
Saturday, July 20
The Ginger Man in Uptown hosts a Belgian beer tasting beginning at 2:30 pm. Tickets are $40 per person with plenty of Belgian-style beers from around the world. Call 214-754-8771 for tickets.
