Bread Winners To the West
Crazy popular Dallas brunch destination tackles Trophy Club
Dallas brunch favorite Bread Winners Cafe and Bakery and sibling Quarter Bar are expanding west, with their first foray into Tarrant County. A new location will open in Trophy Club in 2016.
Owners Jim and Cindy Hughes signed the lease on a property on SH 114 frontage road in the Trophy Wood District, an up-and-coming suburban center with restaurants, hotels and retail.
Design plans for the new restaurant and bar are underway. Expect eclectic yet classic architectural touches, a courtyard feel, rooftop space and old-world charm.
In a release, Trophy Club Mayor Nick Sanders says the city and the region will benefit immensely from the addition of Bread Winners and Quarter Bar. The Trophy Club restaurant also will serve as Bread Winners' corporate catering hub for the west side.
The Trophy Wood District currently has two hotels, with two more under construction, plus a Baylor Medical Center and professional office. The town previously purchased 5.56 acres in the area for a future town hall/police facility and has an additional 7.441 acres under contract for future development plans.
Trophy Club actively pursued the Bread Winners team for more than a year. Trophy Club town manager Stephen Seidel called it a "home run."
"The addition of Bread Winners and Quarter Bar will not only elevate Trophy Club's dining market, but also help jumpstart economic development activity in the Trophy Wood District."
