Raymond Vineyards Wine Dinner at Lark on the Park
Chefs Melody Bishop and Dennis Kelley pair a multicourse menu with six wines from the acclaimed Napa Valley vineyard. Courses include Boucheron with celery hearts, chives, parsley, and baguette; grilled lobster salad with mango, avocado, and scallions; duck confit with black rice, farro, lacinato kale and red plum compote; grilled rib-eye with fried baby Yukon potatoes, Swiss chard, wild mushrooms, and whole grain mustard sauce; and mignardises. Tickets are $162 per person, and the reception starts at 7 pm.

3 Nations Beer and Cheese Tasting at Scardello Artisan Cheese
Ages ago, monks found that two of their most prized products — beer and cheese — went deliciously well together. Discover that for yourself at this event that explores pairings of 3 Nations beers and 10 artisan cheeses. 3 Nations founder Gavin Secchi talks about his creations. Tickets are $40 per person, and the event begins at 7 pm.
Sommelier for a Day at III Forks
Have you ever wanted to be a sommelier at a fine-dining restaurant with a world-class wine cellar? Now is your chance. III Forks offers a Sommelier for a Day opportunity on the first Wednesday of each month from 5-7 pm, during which guests can help select featured wines for the coming month. For $20 per person, attendees sample six wines selected by the steakhouse’s wine director and enjoy hand-passed paired hors d’oeuvre created by executive chef Chris Vogeli. Brews & Views at Hard Rock Cafe Dallas
Every Friday night in August, the Victory Park restaurant is screening a classic “Musicians in Movies”-themed film while serving limited-time ciders by Bishop Cider Co. This week’s film is Purple Rain. The free event starts at 8 pm.
Dallas Supper Club presents Chef Vijay Sadhu at Altitude at W Dallas Victory
The pop-up dinner event returns with a new location and chef. Guests enjoy hors d’oeuvre and a five-course plated dinner prepared by chef Vijay Sadhu, with wine accompaniments.
