Grand Opening Celebration at Whole Foods Uptown
Celebrate with Whole Foods as the doors open on the newest store, right in the heart of Uptown Dallas. Starting at 7:30 am, enjoy free coffee, Ro Ro's muffins and Good Pop popsicles. The store officially opens at 8 am.
Wine & Cheese Pairing at Messina Hof Winery
Experience the palate-pleasing tastes of wine and cheese every second Wednesday of each month. Head to Grapevine to learn about new, exciting cheeses to complement your favorite Messina Hof wines. Tickets are $20 per person and reservations are suggested by calling 817-442-8463.

Jameson Whiskey and Chocolate Tasting at Dude, Sweet Chocolate
This is part of Savor Dallas' Toast of the Town Event Series. Dude, Sweet Chocolate’s Katherine Clapner and Jameson Irish Whiskey brand ambassador Darren Mooney are a powerhouse duo who have planned one decadent night: a guided tasting of five signature confections paired with the distinct notes of Jameson, including Caskmates, Yellow Spot, Powers Johns Lane and Redbreast 12. Tickets are $25 and the fun begins at 6:30 pm.
$1 Filet Sandwich Day at Morton's Steakhouse
In celebration of National Filet Mignon Day, Morton's is serving up $1 petite filet mignon sandwiches in the bar area all day. The steakhouse encourages guests to enjoy various bar bites with their sandwiches, like the parmesan truffle matchstick fries or the crisp iceberg wedge bites.

Chefs for Farmers Mix Off at DEC on Dragon
In celebration of the official launch of ticket sales for the 2015 Chefs For Farmers, the Mix Off features a bartender and sous chef competition with the winner of each earning a spot at the Chefs For Farmers Culinary Village at Lee Park on October 25. The sous chefs participating are Brian Bell of Blind Butcher, Brooks Cameron of FT33, Dina Butterfield of Uchi Dallas and Joel Orsini of CBD Provisions. Bartenders competing include Alex Fletcher of Henry’s Majestic, Colin Phillips of FT33, Julie Naida of Remedy, Lauren Festa of Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek and more. Tickets are $55 per person and the event starts at 5 pm.
