Popup bar imports Latin style to Statler hotel in downtown Dallas
There's a popup bar popping up at The Statler hotel in downtown Dallas: Called Rosario, it'll have a South American theme and will take over the space at Bourbon & Banter, the hotel's in-house bar.
The soft opening is October 16 and it will last through October, when B&B will reopen.
A release says that Rosario will have Latin and South American flavors paired in ways never done before – with a story behind them and their main characters.
Featured cocktails such as the Buenos Aires Menyul and Chicha tu Madre will use imported products such as Peruvian purple corn and Brazilian pink peppercorn, key to the culture and cocktail history of South America.
Chef Ryan Carbery has created a corresponding food menu featuring steak with Argentinean chimichurri and Brasas-style chicken bites with Aji Amarillo.
It'll be open at 6 pm on:
- October 16-18
- October 21-24
- October 28-30
It's inside The Statler, at 1914 Commerce St.
Reservations are available through Resy, and they'll also allow limited walk-ins.
