Martha Is Here
Martha Stewart approves this now-open cafe at Galleria Dallas
You can be drinking Martha Stewart-caliber coffee by the morrow, as the Martha Stewart Cafe will open at Galleria Dallas on December 3. It'll be part of the Taste Bar Cafe at Macy's.
The menu is personally designed by Martha Stewart, with the finest sourced beverages and ingredients for the most delicious handcrafted espresso drinks and teas. Everything about this thing is superlative.
The coffee is from Kobrick Coffee, a family-owned roaster in New York. They provide the beans not only for the custom Martha’s Blend coffee, but also for Martha's favorite espresso bean, which is roasted in small batches in Trieste, Italy.
The menu includes cold-brew iced coffee, plus artisanal loose-leaf teas from Wei Bertram of Connecticut-based Arogya Tea. There's Martha's Breakfast Blend, with Assam long leaf and Chinese black teas; Da Hong Pao, a Chinese oolong; and a nutty, subtly sweet buckwheat tea.
The cafe will also serve pastries such as croissants, pain au chocolat, cookies, and muffins, made by Martha's favorite Dallas-based bakeries: Bisous Bisous, Rush Patisserie, and Empire Baking Co.
Prices range from $1.50-$5.25 for beverages and $2-$5 for pastries. Martha’s Blend beans are available by the bag for $13.50-$15. Loose-leaf tea is sold by the canister for $20.
The first Martha Stewart Cafe opened in New York in March 2015. A second branch opened in Sacramento in October. In a release, Stewart says she's thrilled about expanding to Dallas, saying that "the Dallas location could not be opening at a more perfect time."
