Chef Aarón Sánchez with Shakey Graves at Deep Ellum Art Company
Texas native and celebrity chef Aarón Sánchez is on a Texas tour celebrating the release of his new memoir, Where I Come From: Life Lessons from a Latino Chef. The event includes an intimate discussion with Sánchez moderated by Shakey Graves, followed by a performance. Each guest will leave with an autographed copy of the memoir and a delicious meal. Tickets start at $65 and the event starts at 6 pm.

Cain Vineyard and Winery Pairing Dinner at Knife Dallas
Chef John Tesar welcomes Katie Lazar and Susan Naderi-Johnston of Cain Vineyard & Winery for a four-course pairing dinner celebrating the milestone-30th vintage of Cain Five. Courses include beet infused steak tartare, nduja ravioli, rack of veal, and a special dessert. Tickets are $256 and the dinner kicks off at 7 pm.
Fireside Holiday Kickoff at Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas
Enjoy the resort's Christkindlmarket that features yummy favorites like Christmas tamales, doughnuts, gingerbread cookies, and waffles-on-a-stick with a Texas twist for sale courtesy of executive chef Christof Syré. There will also be a complimentary build-your-own hot chocolate bar as well as live holiday music and a face painter. And the best news? Santa and his reindeer are stopping by for photos and to listen to the kiddos' wishlists. Admission is free and the event kicks off at 6 pm.

Tamal Festival at Latino Cultural Center
This inaugural festival highlights the history and cultural importance of tamales in Latino culture. Stroll the venue and enjoy corn/maiz and tamale-based art and vendors that will be set up for patrons' enjoyment. Admission is free and the festival kicks off at noon.
Second Anniversary Bash at White Rock Ale House and Brewery
White Rock's favorite brewery is turning two and the celebration is lasting all day. Events include a chowder challenge, two special bottle-only beer releases, live music, a silent auction, and more. Tickets are $15 and doors open at 10 am.

Decorate a Gingerbread House at Central Market Lovers Lane
This holiday tradition means fun for everyone regardless of your age. Enjoy decorating an authentic Swiss Lebkuchen (gingerbread) house with lots of royal icing and mountains of candy and edible decorations. There will also be light snacks provided, as well as a box to take your creation home with you. Tickets start at $55 and the event starts at 12:30 pm.
