Enthusiasts' Faves Class at Scardello Artisan Cheese
Scardello cheese enthusiasts pick their favorite cheeses and wines for a night of tasting fun and surprises. Tickets are $40, and the class begins at 7 pm. Boho-A-Go-Go Dance Party at Midnight Rambler
Guests can reserve a table for New Year's Eve and enjoy tableside punch service, Perrier Jouet champagne, and a selection of appetizers while grooving to tunes from DJs Jeff Paul and Gabe Mendoza. Entrance fee is $25 and includes a free champagne toast and prizes for best-dressed and best dancing.
Eastwood's Bar New Year's Eve Party
Dubbed the "living room of Uptown," this cozy bar is hosting its second annual New Year's Eve party, featuring complimentary light bites from 8-10 pm, a champagne toast at midnight, and live music from 10 pm until 2 am. Admission is free; however, items from the elevated bar menu are available for purchase.
New Year's Eve Brewery Tour at Community Beer Company
After a brief holiday hiatus, Dallas' favorite brew tour is back in business just in time for this fun holiday. Admission includes three drink tokens and access to live music, food trucks, and one of two tours happening at 3 and 4 pm. Tickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door, and the festivities last from 2-5 pm.
New Year's Eve Dinner Party at Julia Pearl
Executive chef Jermaine Brown and his team have created a special menu for the occasion, and to keep everyone entertained between courses and into the wee hours, the restaurant is bringing in local band Fingerprints for a live set. The drinks flow all night, but stick around for a champagne toast when the clock strikes midnight. Tickets are $50, and the dinner party is set to last from 8 pm to 1 am.

New Year's Day Party at Truck Yard
Fight your hangover and put a smile back on your face with $20 Bloody Mary pitchers and mimosa buckets — the latter coming with one bottle of bubbly and your choice of two fresh juices from a selection of guava, orange, blood orange, grapefruit, and pomegranate. To keep you warm, spiked hot chocolate, spiced apple cider, and hot toddies will also be available, all priced at just $8 each. Or keep it simple with $4 domestic beers and wells. This cocktail-fueled fiesta lasts from 11 am to midnight.

Oprah's Healthy and Delicious Recipes Cooking Class at Sur la Table
Start the year off on a healthy note with this hands-on class that teaches you to make food that's both tasty and good for you. Learn to cook red-pepper sausage and fennel soup, miso-glazed cod, grilled shrimp lettuce wraps, and pasta primavera. Cost is $69 per person, and class runs from 3-5 pm.
