Capital One Cafe coffee shop and bank in one opens in Uptown Dallas

Capital One Cafe
A new coffee-shop-in-a-bank has opened in Uptown Dallas: Called Capital One Café, it opened on June 25 at 3700 McKinney Ave. #126, where it's serving coffee and snacks with a little banking on the side.
The cafe takes over a space that was briefly an Italian restaurant called Fiatto, and previously Eureka, the hip California beer-and-burger chain.
Capital One Cafés are part bank, part café, and open to all, not just Capital One customers. They debuted the concept in New York in 2001, and have cafes scatteed throught the U.S. in 19 states. They opened the first DFW cafe at Stonebriar Centre in Frisco in 2023, followed by a second at Wynnewood Village in 2024.
The Uptown Dallas Café features plentiful seating, Wi-Fi, food & beverages, and a commissioned piece from Dallas-based fiber artist Niki Dionne, which invites viewers to find parts of themselves in the faceless women depicted.
They serve coffee from Verve Coffee Roasters, a California-based third-wave specialty coffee company, expanding its retail presence in the Dallas area. The menu features a rotating selection of single-origin coffees and blends from around the world, espresso drinks, seasonal offerings, Nitro Flash Brew, instant coffees, tea, and other drinks.
Verve also executes the food offerings which include breakfast sandwiches, avocado toast, power bowl, and the like.
Capital One debit and credit card holders get 50 percent off beverages at all cafés nationwide when using their Capital One card, including all Dallas-area locations. Capital One co-branded cards also receive the discount.
Eureka sadly closed in 2020 due to the pandemic, but that space is one of the sweetest in Uptown, with 4,000 square feet inside and a spacious 800-square-foot patio. Capital One remodeled it to include community rooms and spaces to hold financial literacy workshops.
