Blushington founder and CEO Stephi Maron and chairman and CFO Mark Maron lured makeup mavens to the Dallas studio for a night of bubbly and charity. Not that we like to brag (okay, maybe we do a little), but ours is the only Blushington boutique outside of California, so of course these execs would make the trip from Los Angeles.
“We chose Dallas because we found that women in Dallas love their makeup,” Stephi said. “There is an active social scene where Dallas ladies have many occasions to get glammed up. Not to mention there was an open space next door to Drybar, so we had to take it!”
Bloggers Lynsey Eaton from Law of Fashion, Amy Havins from Dallas Wardrobe, Molly and Sally Miller from A Piece of Toast, Haley Schultheis from Nonsense & Sensibility, and Mary Summers from M.A.S. Fashion were tasked with hosting the event, which was all about giving women a fresh, new look in the new year.
Guests — including Lynn McBee, Emily Boaz, Elisabeth Provost, Natalie Meyer and Marisa Carone — snacked on popcorn, sipped champagne and, of course, got their makeup touched up.
Stephi Maron says her Blushington clients love the sultry smoky eye mixed with a dewy, sun-kissed look. That said, the most popular services in Dallas since opening have been the “Smoke & Mirrors” look mixed with the “Simply Glowing“ skin option.
Attendees were also encouraged to bring gently used accessories to donate to Attitudes & Attire. Those who showed up with the goods received 10 percent off their services.
