The 411: Dallas' best-dressed and best-tressed stepped out for one of the most fashionable affairs of the year on February 20. The annual FGI Rising Star Awards celebrates the extraordinary works of emerging talent within the fashion and related industries in Dallas.
The evening kicked off with a buzzy cocktail hour, featuring a full beauty activation sponsored by Toni & Guy. Then came the main event — an award program and sizzling runway show featuring the fashions of Rising Star fashion nominees, produced by Jan Strimple Productions.
The 2019 Rising Star Award winners crowned that night were:
- Tendai Tawonzovi of Neobantu (Women’s Fashion)
- Daniel Mofor of Don Morphy (Men’s Fashion – 2019 Rising Star Award winner in NYC)
- Logan-Miles Allison of The Heart Hatter (Accessories)
- Makeup artist Anastasia Strattan (Beauty)
- Julie McCullough and Mike Arreaga of Harkensback (Retail)
- Sarah and Natalie Knowlton of We The Birds (Fashion Blogging)
