Fling into Spring
Hot young professionals gather at Tootsies to kick off Spring Fling benefit for Klyde Warren Park
Downtown Dallas has been buzzing with excitement since Klyde Warren Park opened last fall as the great urban addition to our growing Arts District. The excitement continues as Friends of the Park gears up to host its annual Spring Fling for the first time on park grounds
To kick off the third annual fundraiser, set for April 20, stylish young professionals gathered at Tootsies for cocktails and light bites courtesy of AK Kitchen. Supporters also got a taste of the event's headlining entertainment, the Ray Johnston Band, when frontman Ray Johnston serenaded the crowd with "Me, You & EmmyLou."
Supporters on the scene — including co-chairs Courtney Edwards andReanae Seth, Alison Rodman, Missy Wyszynski, Glenn Singleton, Jose Reyes, Dan Pritchett, Niven Morgan, and Rodney Moore — also shopped the DL 1961 trunk show.
Friends of the Park is a membership-based group of supporters dedicated to increasing awareness of the park through membership drives, socials, educational events and fundraisers. It aids the Woodall Rodgers Park Foundation in its mission to sustain and promote the green oasis above the freeway.
