A Little Bit of Chicken Fried
Cattle Baron's lands one of hottest country music acts for 2018 Dallas ball
One of the biggest acts in country music will rock the stage at Cattle Baron's Ball 2018: Zac Brown Band will headline the milestone 45th anniversary event next fall.
Since they won the Best New Artist Grammy in 2010, Zac Brown Band has become one of the most popular country music acts worldwide, attracting fans both young and old to their high-energy concerts with party songs like "Chicken Fried," "Whatever it is," "Goodbye in Her Eyes," and "Keep Me in Mind."
They've hit No. 1 on the country charts on each of their subsequent four albums, including 2017's Welcome Home, and have become a regular at the industry's awards shows. To date, the group has sold more than 25 million singles and eight million albums, they've achieved 15 No. 1 radio singles, and are the second act to top both the Country and Active Rock formats.
Zac Brown Band last played in Dallas at Starplex Pavilion in September 2017.
Also on the Cattle Baron's bill is the Charlie Daniels Band, which will take the live auction stage and play at the VIP party. Daniels has won a Grammy for Best Country Vocal Performance, was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, and is a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
Cattle Baron’s Ball, the largest American Cancer Society fundraising event for cancer research in the world, takes place October 20 at Gilley's Dallas. Jonika Nix and Katy Bock are chairing the event, which has the theme "Sapphires & Spurs."
