Tequila-Fueled Fun
Young professionals play in Winstons Supperclub wonderland at CultureMap Social
Oak Lawn was buzzing Thursday night with what could only be attributed to one of two things: National Tequila Day or the CultureMap Summer Social. We think it was probably a little of both, as young professionals packed Winstons Supperclub eager to support Round Table, the North Texas Food Bank’s YP group.
Guests — including Catherine Cody, Madison Hunnicutt, Allison and Brian Loftus, Mandy O’Neill, Missy Kling, Chelsea Geiger, Bruce Bice, and Scott Boulch — enjoyed one of two carefully crafted signature El Jimador tequila cocktails, the Mango Mango Margarita and the Paloma Primo. To complement the drinks, costumed waitstaff passed delicious bites from Urban Taco, including chicken tinga tostadas, snapper ceviche and mini tacos al pastor.
Bold, black-and-white-striped walls and umbrellas hanging overhead provided a whimsical backdrop for patio partiers. Inside, pretty people snapped playful photos at the Smilebooth and grooved to the smooth sounds of DJ Adam Cleland and DJ Inzo. Did we mention the El Jimador tequila snow cones dubbed the Palomini and Tres Amigos? Genius, right?
Some have said our swag bags are legendary, but we shall let you be the judge: Guys left with gifts from Q Clothier and Top Golf. Girls headed out with goodies from Blaine Bowen Jewelry and Pouf Blowout. Both ladies and gents got surprises from Val’s Cheesecakes, Live Love Pop and Sunstone Yoga. A select few even scored some Hari Mari flip flops.
Just when attendees thought the gift giving was over, the good folks from Skimpy Mixers showed up at the valet with full-size bottles to take home and try at your next house party. And our friends at Uber provided a special discount to and from the event.
You might be wondering how we can top this summer soiree. You’ll just have to wait until fall to see what we’ve got planned, but we know it’s something you won’t want to miss.
