When you mix an architecturally stunning space, chic fall fashions and budding philanthropists, you get an extremely hot event. Stanley Korshak hosted its second annual Rock N' Runway Fashion Show, benefiting the Salvation Army’s Echelon group, in the courtyard of the Rosewood Crescent Hotel. Leave it to Crawford Brock to host such a stylish soiree, during which he unveiled haute new collections to many of his youthful customers.
A swarm of blondes in heels and preps in colorful pants brought a pair of denim for donation at the door. More than 600 guests filled the courtyard balconies to catch a glimpse of the sexy runway shows set up on the first floor, while DJ Lucy Wrubel mixed music on a high platform. Pop-up bars flowed with wine, mojitos and colorful mixed drinks.
The first runway show flaunted contemporary designs by Rag & Bone from The Shak. The second and third shows — themed Rock N Roma and American Idols — showcased collections by Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Brioni, Lanvin, Versace, Nina Ricci, Isaia, Calvin Klein, Donna Karan New York, Michael Kors, Lela Rose, Carolina Herrera and other top designers.
Though the high-energy music, contemporary fashions and free-flowing cocktails would have been enough to satisfy these young souls, The Shak opened its doors for a post-runway-show dance party.
Spotted in the crowd: Echelon co-president Christina Geyer, Josh Cortez, Molly Folse, Patrick Benoit, Austin Ames, Patrick Anderson, Katy Pitcock, Helen Brock, Leigh Brock Friend, Sam Unell, Krystal Schlegel, Rose Clark, Candi Crawford, Michelle Hunt, Rick Corso, Jessi Moreau, Laura Noble and MelissaandJoe Pastora.
