Just in time for football season, Dallas jewelry entrepreneur Blaine Muhl has collaborated with reality star Sydney James to create some gameday bling for girls who love football as much as they do fashion. To celebrate the line, SJ Loves B Gameday Glam, the duo threw a party on the patio at Saint Ann Restaurant and Bar.
The standout side kick to her sister Jessie on E!’s Eric & Jessie: Game On, James is currently exploring opportunities of her own, including this new line and her blog, Southern Girl City Lights.
“We had several different options, but I thought Sydney was the best fit for this collaboration because of her sincere interest in sports, fun-loving personality and the positive way she represents herself,” Muhl says. “I just felt she was the best match for the brand and a great face to add to our existing Gameday jewelry collection.”
“It was a no-brainer for me,” James adds. “We both have a love for the game and a passion for fashion. It was a perfect match.”
Glamorous girls — including Shannon Yoachum, ABC Bachelor In Paradise’s AshLee Frazier, Hilary Kennedy, Jordan Jones and Jessica Karasik of GLAMboxes — showed up to Saint Ann to sip, nosh and browse the SJ Hearts B Gameday Glam collection ($12-$48), which was inspired by teams that have a personal meaning to James. We especially love the bling created with James’ brother-in-law in mind, including the New York New York, in honor of his current spot on the New York Jets’ starting roster, and Minnesota You Betcha, which pays tribute to his time at the University of Minnesota.
Muhl also debuted some new pieces from her original Gameday Swag line as well as the new Simply Gameday apparel collection ($35-$65), which includes tops and dresses, like the Sunday Funday shirts, featuring fun phrases for sports-minded girls who like to stir up a tailgate.
Guests left with swag bags filled with gifts from Packed Party, Pouf Blowout, Blushington, OmniPotent Hair, Rio Ritz Boutique and TYR Endurance Sport Drink. Sigh. If only real gamedays yielded us this much loot after a big victory.
