New Kendra Scott boutique outfits Fort Worth in colorful bling
Lone Star jewelry designer Kendra Scott has opened another store in her home state, this time Fort Worth’s University Park Village, where Cowtown gals can now stock up on the colorful baubles for which Scott is known.
To celebrate, Scott welcomed more than 200 guests for Deep Eddy cocktails, McKinley’s cowboy boot cookies, Nothing Bundt Cakes bundtinis and appetizers from Fort Worth favorite Reata. The store was a fashionable ladies playground, with arrangements from Posh Floral, upbeat tunes from DJ Joe Ramirez and a photo booth from TapSnap — which you know was a bit hit.
Party girls — including Amber Kuckhahn, Kelsey Meloy, Stephanie McPeak, Allison Doornik and Elizabeth Baker — chatted with the personable designer and shopped, of course, because 20 percent of the party’s proceeds benefited the Junior League of Fort Worth. The organization also got to reveal its exclusive Rodeo Collection.
The new Fort Worth location is No. 13 of 14 for Scott, who has shops across Texas — including Plano and Dallas’ West Village — as well as Alabama, Arizona, California, Georgia and Louisiana.
