Designer Edo Popken opened his Design District storefront to host Arthritis Foundation’s Bone Bash 2014 kickoff. As he is wont to do, the menswear guru announced a generous donation for this year’s costume-filled fundraiser, which is set for Saturday, October 25, at the Omni Dallas hotel.
Guests arrived to light bites and champagne while Shelley Tims introduced co-chairs Allison Richie and Chelsea Hunt. She also shared details of the upcoming event, which includes dinner, drinks and live auction, of course, as well as entertainment by Doctor Doctor, a haunted casino and a late-night after-party with DJ Kelly Taylor.
Costume attire is encouraged, and there is always a strong turnout of impressive getups.
Popken announced that he was donating a live auction package for the bash, which includes personal styling for the live auction winner and four guests at the Dallas flagship store, one week for four people at the Parisian Popken Chateau guesthouse in France, and a case of Edo Popken champagne.
