It's not hard for people in this city to find a reason to throw a party — and equally easy for us to RSVP yes. Recently Mockingbird Taproom opened its doors to guests for a night of beer, wine and savory bites at its grand opening celebration.
The backdrop was set with TVs showing SportsCenter and a hockey game between USA and Canada. Attendees — including Ken Capps, Josh Dishongh, Kyle Mayeron, Suzie Oszustowicz, Danielle Durand, and Linda and Clark Peterson — quickly adapted to the high-end sports bar scene with Alaskan Amber in hand.
Before indulging in buffalo wings, nine burger variations (in the form of sliders) and Beeramisu (tiramisu with beer), attendees mingled with general manager Aaron McCurry, Park Tavern general manager Allen Cobbs and Restaurants America CEO Marc Wuenschel,
As waiters passed around more libations — Naked Grape Pinot Grigio, Flirt Red Blend Hob Nob Chardonnay and Jim Bean cocktails — DJ Envious mixed the beats.
Seen on the scene: Lynn Mcbee, Anna Watkins, Danielle Durand, Jessica Lowe, Alex Jarrard, Kyle Mayeron and Danny Solomon.
