Book a staycation at these Dallas hotels to pamper your valentine

Whether you’re too busy to book a romantic out-of-town getaway or you prefer a low-key day of love, we could all use a little help planning the perfect Valentine’s Day celebration. These hotels in and around downtown Dallas will help you toast your valentine in a way you’ll never forget.

The Adolphus Hotel
On the weekends of February 10 and February 17, indulge with the Adolphus’ Do Not Disturb package. It includes $150 in Spa Adolphus credit, which is just enough for two 30-minute express massages so you can get back to your room for more relaxing. You’ll also score overnight valet, body oil, $50 toward room service, and sweets and sparkling wine to toast each other.

Omni Hotels
The aptly named Retreat to Romance package at all Omni Hotels treats couples to a romantic turndown with slow jams and comfy robes, a bottle of sparkling wine upon arrival, and a $100 credit for food and drink. Cupid — the concierge, that is — can make reservations at Texas Spice, Bob’s Steak & Chop House, or anywhere else you choose. The best part of the package? Late checkout. Plus, from February 11 to 19, Omni Dallas’ Mokara Spa has a 50-minute chocolate-vanilla Swedish massage for $125 for singles, or $250 for couples. Or treat yourself to a chocolate lavender pedicure — glass of champagne included — for $55. No need to be a hotel guest to take advantage of those spa offerings.

The Joule
From February 12 to February 16, begin your evening of romance with complimentary drinks (we suggest something sparkling) at the Lobby Bar, followed by a day of pampering that starts with breakfast in bed. That late checkout will come in handy after you decide how to use that $50 credit to the Spa at The Joule.

The Ritz-Carlton
With three unique packages at the Ritz-Carlton, you and your honey will be properly wined and dined, and pampered and polished. Until the end of February, the Valentine’s Day and Bed and Breakfast packages both include in-room breakfast from Fearing’s. Those who choose the Valentine’s Day package will also sip champagne, be treated to a rose-petal turndown service, and score a free gift with any spa treatment. Couples looking to pull out all the bells and whistles for Valentine’s Day can score the Westin’s Delight and Indulge package. The Westin will pick you and your sweetheart up from your North Texas home in a limo, welcome you to the presidential suite with Dom Perignon and chocolate truffles, and guide you through the Dallas Farmers Market to select ingredients for a special chef dinner. After a morning of shopping (with a $1,000 gift card), indulge in an in-suite massage before a guided walk or drive for a sunset photo opportunity. The next morning, sip mimosas during breakfast in bed. This weekend, filled with special surprises such as fresh flowers and gifts, runs $20,000 on the weekends of February 10 and February 17.

Four Seasons Resort and Club Dallas at Las Colinas
The Four Seasons’ Valentine’s Day package might be called All You Need Is Love, but the tickets to the Irving Symphony Orchestra’s A Tribute To The Beatles don't hurt either. Classical Mystery Tour will play all your favorites from John, Paul, Ringo, and George at the Saturday, February 11, performance. The next morning, couples can eat breakfast in-room or dine at LAW (we recommend the blue crab omelet or LAW Benedict).

Dallas nonprofit Bonton Farms spreads its wings with 2 DFW Airport stores

South Dallas nonprofit Bonton Farms is going international without straying too far from home. The organization is debuting two storefronts at Dallas Fort Worth International Airport: one that just opened and another coming this fall.

The larger Bonton Farms marketplace, a 2,895-square-foot space in Terminal A, quietly opened in mid-August.

A second, smaller 551-square-foot newsstand near the A-Pier will open in October, when the airport's A-Pier expansion is scheduled to open, a spokesperson says. (Exact date is still TBA.)

The shops are called, simply, "Bonton Farms" and are operated by Marshall Retail Group, a subsidiary of WHSmith North America, which is partnering with Bonton Farms on the airport concept.

According to a release, both stores will sell Bonton Farms products such as locally made honey, handmade jam, and goat-milk soap, along with apparel, merchandise, and products made by "Bontonpreneurs," the local entrepreneurs supported through the nonprofit's business-development programs.

The stores will also offer fresh grab-and-go food, including sandwiches, wraps, salads and sweet treats, as well as travel essentials and souvenirs and gifts.

The airport project was first announced in 2024 as a partnership between Bonton Farms, WHSmith, and DFW Airport. The plan called for Bonton Farms products to be sold alongside goods from other North Texas businesses, including Fort Worth's Sons Coffee, Lettuce Cook, and Pearl Honey Spreads.

Bonton Farms began in the Bonton neighborhood with a small beekeeping operation and has grown into a nonprofit farm, market and community hub. Its operations now include two farm sites, a coffeehouse, farmers market, preservatory and farm-to-table Market/Café, along with programs focused on workforce development, education, health and wellness, economic opportunity and access to fresh food.

"This opening represents an exciting milestone for Bonton Farms and the community we serve," says Mark Jones, President & CEO of Bonton Farms, in the release. "For the first time, our products and our story will reach travelers from around the world. Through this partnership with WHSmith North America, we're creating new opportunities to share the mission of Bonton Farms while generating additional support for programs that help our neighbors thrive."

The airport shops are designed to introduce Bonton Farms to travelers who may not otherwise encounter the organization or its products.

"This store isn't just retail space, it's a front door to our mission," says Kendra Charisse Smith, Director of Operations at Bonton Farms, who oversaw execution of the partnership. "From sourcing and packaging our products to meet the demands of a whole new scale of distribution, every step was about making sure Bonton Farms shows up authentically in one of the busiest airports in the world. This launch reflects the same care and intentionality we put into everything we do in South Dallas.”
