New Virgin Hotels Dallas is now accepting reservations for December
An opening date of sorts has emerged for Virgin Hotels Dallas, coming to the Dallas Design District. According to a release from Virgin Hotels, the lifestyle hotel brand by Virgin Group founder Sir Richard Branson, reservations are live for the hotel, and are currently being accepted for stays starting December 15.
Reservations can be made on the hotel's website, virginhotels.com/dallas, or by calling 833-859-0044.
The hotel is located at 1445 Turtle Creek Blvd., a new-build property with 268 "Chambers" (rooms), including two penthouse suites, a rooftop terrace with a pool, plus multiple dining and drinking outlets, including Commons Club, the brand’s flagship food, beverage, and social club concept space.
The rooms range from 323 to 1,395 square feet and are uniquely designed to consist of two distinct spaces separated by a sliding door, complete with a peephole.
The first space, called The Dressing Room, combines the hallway and a dressing area, which includes a full vanity, makeup desk with mirror, extra-large shower with a bench completed with Red Flower toiletries, and a closet for two.
The second space, called The Lounge, has a patented ergonomically designed lounge bed, a red SMEG mini-fridge stocked with street-priced comforts, high-def TV, yoga mat, round nomadic walnut table, and red plush sofa, with ample outlets for electronic devices.
All Chambers feature custom lighting on sensors that automatically illuminate when guests move. There are also additional amenities for pets.
Commons Club will be situated at the main entrance of the hotel and is designed to feel like a members-only experience, a modern social club without the dues, for guests and locals as well.
The Pool Club will be on the fourth floor of the hotel; light bites and cocktails will be served.
Funny Library Coffee Shop will be on the first level of the hotel. The coffee shop is a communal work space with funny books and games, and will feature coffee by Laughing Man, the brand co-founded by actor Hugh Jackman.
A state-of-the-art fitness center will be open 24 hours a day.
The hotel will follow Virgin Hotel's "No Nickel and Diming" policy, which includes street-priced minibars, free WiFi, and zero resort/urban or amenity fees.
Virgin Hotels Dallas is being developed in partnership with Bill Hutchinson of Dunhill Partners and operated by Virgin Hotels, and joins the Virgin Hotel roster that includes Virgin Hotels Chicago and Virgin Hotels San Francisco, with seven more locations underway in New York City; Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans; Las Vegas; Palm Springs and Silicon Valley, California; and Edinburgh, Scotland.
