Desiree Alvarez is a born and raised Texan. Originally from Fort Worth, she cameto Houston for many things, but found the most important of them was to be ajournalist. She is an intern at CultureMap and recent University of Houstongraduate who is completely and utterly in love with the City of Houston and herdog, Nemo (in a normal way). She is confident CultureMap will lead her to anopen road with endless possibilities as a professional journalist.
