Ingenious Dallas setup ensures planning your big day is a piece of wedding cake
Close your eyes, and imagine wedding-planning utopia. You walk into a preciously decorated space, and you are handed a cup of coffee or glass of sparkling wine. Then you meet with multiple vendors — who are familiar with one another and coexist in this happy place — to nail down the details of your dream wedding.
Now open your eyes, and prepare for the good news: This place exists, and it's called The Bevy.
Based out of a space in Addison, these coworking experts — event planners, photographers, floral designers, makeup artists, stationers — ensure your planning goes off without a hitch. And to celebrate this newfound synergy, brides-to-be and wedding-industry buddies — including Tracy Melton, Katie Norwood, Kristin Mullen, Katey McFarlan and Anna Plemons — recently gathered for an opening party.
"As wedding and event vendors, too often we meet brides struggling to find vendors who work well together as a team with similar styles," said Kelly McGraw, owner of Pink Champagne Paper Stationery Design. "We wanted to have a one-stop shop to make the wedding-planning process simple and effortless for brides."
McGraw says that clients enjoy the convenience of having different vendors officing in the same location. Joining her in the space are Alyssa Turner Photography, Jenna Thomas Professional Makeup Artist and Esthetician, Kara Stout Nutrtion + Wellness Coach, R Love Floral Designs, and Silver Lining Events + Co.
McGraw vows that whether clients work with The Bevy vendors as a team or on an individual basis, the outcome is the same.
"Our goal is for our studio to inspire brides and clients with a unique, boutique feel to the wedding- and event-planning experience," she said. "We want our clients to have their dream wedding or event — without the stress."
