Junior Associates Adore Dior
Chic young Dallas Museum of Art patrons mix fashion, photography and fun at Dior exhibit
To celebrate the 20th year of the Affair of the Art, Dallas Museum of Art Junior Associates gathered in Highland Park Village for a cocktail fete at the Dior Couture Patrick Demarchelier exhibition.
These young sophisticates, dressed smartly in bright dresses and structured jackets, fit right in with the exquisite works of the famed French photographer and the haute couture he’s been documenting for decades.
Quotes splashed on the walls — such as, “After woman, flowers are the most lovely thing God has given the world” — caught every fashionable girl’s eye. Even the men were mesmerized by the chic displays.
With bubbly in hand, young professionals — including Courtney Wallace, Robert Wallace, Courtney Geiger, Haley Luper, Veronica Roper, Scott Glaser, Derek Sparks, James Rust, Abigail Baber, and Susannah and Scott Bame — mingled with fellow arts patrons and chatted excitedly about the autumn affair that benefits the Dallas Museum of Art.
