As per usual, we have been out and about lately, researching all the places you need to be seen this summer — from where to get your hair and makeup done to where to show it all off. See you out there.

Bellacures
No matter when you hit up this popular Preston Center nail salon, you are bound to see someone you know (or want to know). Bellacures elevates the typical mani/pedi experience and often rolls out seasonal specials. The latest, the Los Angeles Beach Sand Manicure and Pedicure, includes a minty clay mask, coconut oil massage, complimentary green juice and more, priced at just $40 for manicure and $50 for a pedicure.

Bluemercury
Of course this one-stop beauty shop opened its first Texas location in Highland Park Village. The loveliest Dallas ladies already frequent this elegant shopping center, and now they can browse the more than 90 skincare and cosmetics brands — such as Laura Mercier, Nars and Bluemercury’s signature M-61 brand — or indulge in a spa service before returning to the scene.

Cool Thursday Concert Series at Dallas Arboretum
This beloved concert series is not new, but it’s pretty tough to beat on a Thursday night. Pack a picnic, gather some friends and listen to some great music while you check out the scenery around White Rock Lake — and, no, we don’t mean the people. Or maybe we do. The series lasts until October 29.

Grange Hall
The restaurant attached to the avant garde floral and gift shop is a favorite among ladies who lunch. But any place that serves a Snob Sandwich deserves a spot on a list like this. It’s an open-face Texas egg salad sandwich with crème fraîche and caviar on one side and smoked salmon and house-made English cucumber relish on the other. Price tag is snobby too: $25.

The Grove at Harwood
This Harwood District hot spot feels more like the Hamptons than Dallas. Young professionals flock here to sit at picnic tables and fuel up on hummus and panini before playing a little volleyball or bocce ball. A glass of rosé is another must.

Magnolias Sous Le Pont
Also new to Harwood District, this cozy spot serves primarily coffee and tea, plus some pastries and sandwiches. Ask Dee Traylor to whip up his latest coffee creation, and you won’t regret it. My current favorite? Traylor’s lavender latte.

The Ride House
A city as fitness-focused as Dallas can never have too many cycling studios, especially for those who like to switch up their routines. This one has 45 state-of-the-art Schwinn Carbon Blue bikes, a concert-quality sound system and custom-made LED lights. Ride House claims a workout here can burn up to 800 calories per session.

Set & Co.
If you want to be known for your gifting ability, then this is where you shop. Interior designer Jennifer Littke’s seriously stunning home decor shop in Oak Cliff features textiles, cutlery, handmade ceramics and more. While you shop, you can pick up design tips from the helpful staff and fellow savvy shoppers.

Tangerine Salon Preston Hollow Village
The salon chose one of the buzziest centers in Dallas, Preston Hollow Village, for its fourth location. The space is as pretty as the people getting their tresses done, with soaring 30-foot ceilings and a second-story mezzanine. Master stylists Marshall Hatley and Kevin Walsh head up the place and — speaking from personal experience — Hatley gives a great blowout that lasts for days.

Uchi Dallas
Uchi is the hottest restaurant ticket in town right now, both for its innovative take on Japanese cuisine and its beautiful environs. Don’t miss the Sake Social hour that happens every day from 5-6:30 pm, featuring discounted rolls, tastings, wine, sake and beer.
