What: Mosaic Family Services Gala Patron Party
Where: Neiman Marcus Downtown
The 411: More than 75 Mosaic Family Services supporters headed downtown to partake in the organization's gala patron party hosted by the lovely Anne Stodghill. Attendees mingled with gala co-chairs Ashley Anderson Smith, Nusia Sookarow, and honorary chair Susan Posnick while enjoying cocktails and light bites.
The event also offered guests the opportunity to view the newest collection from Akola — a jewelry and accessories line that trains and employs women in poverty, including survivors of trafficking in Dallas.
Akola's founder and CEO, Brittany Merrill Underwood, was introduced as this year's Champion of Human Rights recipient.
All funds raised at the 2017 Monte Carlo-themed gala on October 6 will support Mosaic Family Services and its mission of providing a safe haven for survivors of human rights abuses.
