To celebrate a decade as Dallas’ premier party planner, Todd Fiscus of Todd Events welcomed the city’s elite to the grounds of the Rachofsky House, where a tented wonderland awaited — and one only Fiscus could create.
For this anniversary fête, the event guru went with an monochromatic white palette, which started with an elaborate all-white floral wall that beckoned everyone inside. More white floral — roses and orchids — decorated the space, and even the tables and seating were draped in white.
A champagne bar overflowing with Veuve Clicquot and accented by an enormous “10” ice sculpture commanded all the attention from guests. Among them was a bevy of beauties who have served as past chairmen for some of Fiscus’ affairs, including Elaine Agather, Olivia Kearney, Christen Wilson, Jennifer Karol and Lynn McBee.
With champagne in hand, guests noshed on treats from Cassandra Fine Catering, ranging from sliders and French fries in white paper bags to a caviar ice cream service to popcorn. And if bubbly wasn’t their cup of tea, partygoers could opt for muddled cucumber and lemonade Belvedere cocktails made fresh to order.
Fiscus employed Quixotic — an amalgam of dance, aerial acrobatics, projection mapping, high fashion and original live music — to get the crowd energized, and the spontaneous bursts of electric violinists by TheDJvsViolin, dance and tunes by S.O.U.L.Jah surely did the trick.
Guests — including Cindy and Howard Rachofsky, Jennie and Stuart Reeves, Caroline Summers, Gina and Scott Ginsburg, David Sutherland, Barbara Daseke, Shelle and Michael Sills, Janie and Dave Hodges, Brian Bolke, and Anna Sophia van Zweden — erupted in cheers and raised their classes at the end of each mini-performance.
Another highlight of evening came in the form of a “Metamorphosis” video produced Dallas HD films that paid homage to the past 10 years and looked to the future of the Todd Events brand. It was the perfect way for Fiscus to express his gratitude to everyone who has supported him along this journey. The video was lovingly dedicated to his father, who recently passed away.
Of course the festivities did not step there. An after-party at Tillman’s Roadhouse in the Bishop Arts District served as the grand finale for celebration dubbed “10 Years of Todd.”
