Pet of the Week
Nothing spooky about this black cat hoping to find a home by Halloween
Hello, animal lovers. From last week, Carl is still waiting for his forever home. From before that, Macaroni is no longer available for adoption (he joined a barn cats program), but Mia can still be yours.
This week meet Dylan, who came to the SPCA of Texas on August 18 as part of an unwanted litter. Hard to believe, isn’t it? Let’s meet her:
Breed: Domestic shorthair mix
Age: 5 months
Weight: 5 pounds
Personality: She’s an all-black cat who likes sleeping on her cat tree and grooming her feline brothers and sisters. She’s a shy lady, but she is warming up to people petting her. She needs a patient family who will help her gain some confidence in order to be the best cat ever.
Vital stats: Dylan has been spayed and microchipped, and she has been given all age-appropriate vaccinations
Come meet Dylan today (#134972) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
