Pet of the Week
Fall in love with a girl named Katie Sue at SPCA of Texas
Greetings, animal lovers. From last week, Rome was adopted. But there is more work to do, because Dylan still needs a forever home.
This week meet Katie Sue, who came to the SPCA of Texas on November 6 because her previous home was just not the right fit for her.
Let’s meet this friendly, loyal pup who can’t wait to settle into her new home for some leftover turkey.
Breed: Labrador mix
Age: 3 years
Weight: 44 pounds
Personality: Katie Sue is a people-pleaser. She’s the type of dog that loves everyone but has her one favorite person in the home. She is smart, so she learns tricks very easily, and she is incredibly loyal. She gets along well with other dogs, but she will need a slow introduction to them so she doesn’t get too overwhelmed. She’d also prefer to go to a home where the children (if there are any) are over the age of 7.
Vital stats: Katie Sue has been spayed and microchipped, and she has received all age-appropriate vaccinations.
Come meet Katie Sue today (#135852) at the SPCA of Texas’ Jan Rees-Jones Animal Care Center in Dallas at 2400 Lone Star Dr., near I-30 and Hampton Road. The center is open seven days a week, noon-6 pm.
