Conan O'Brien celebrates March Madness by bringing show to Dallas
Conan O'Brien is bringing his namesake late-night program to Dallas for a full week of shows at Majestic Theatre, March 31 through April 3.
The last time O'Brien came to Dallas was in 2010, when he was in between being dumped by NBC from The Tonight Show and starting his new show on TBS. His return to Dallas will be a bit more triumphant, as the road trip precedes Arlington hosting the men's NCAA Final Four at AT&T Stadium.
It's the second straight year that O'Brien has taken his show to the area holding the college basketball championship. The reason, of course, is synergy, as TBS will be airing the two national semifinals for the first time. Those semifinals take place on Saturday, April 5, with the championship game, airing on CBS, happening Monday, April 7.
Information on guests will be forthcoming, but you can bet that they will include at least a smattering of Dallas celebrities like Mark Cuban, Jerry Jones and the like.
As with the tapings of Conan in Los Angeles, tickets for the four shows will be free. You can sign up for tickets at teamcoco.com/dallas starting on Tuesday, February 18.
This will be the fourth time O'Brien has taken Conan on the road since it started in 2010. Previous visits included New York City, Chicago and Atlanta.
