A backflipping car, Methopoly and a very real airport diamond heist
Editor's note: There's so much that's beautiful, funny, smart and informative on the Internet. Problem is, there's also a bunch of garbage. Here's the best of the web right now:
1. An SUV does a backflip in France and driver lives to tell the tale. Apparently backflips aren't just a matchbox-car trick anymore. As Buzzfeed reports, a 34-year-old stuntman named Guerlain Chicherit is the first person to land the trick.
2. Methopoly, the Breaking Bad version of Monopoly. Because we need something to entertain us until the final season resumes in July.
3. Thieves dressed as police steal $50 million worth of uncut diamonds off airport tarmac in Brussels. The heist apparently went down in only four minutes. A gang of machine-gun-wielding thieves "drove through the airport security fence, flashed their weapons at guards, seized the diamonds from the airport's cargo hold, and sped off," Gawker reports.
4. Bobcats say the darndest things. A video has surfaced of two chatty bobcats in Carrollton. What does it teach us? Unlike goats, bobcats do not sound at all similar to yelling humans.
5. Sarcastic cigarette warnings make smoking seem so cool. Just a reminder, folks, not everything you read on the Internet is true.
