1. Baby monkey and puppy are best friends. Life's hard out there for a monkey abandoned by its mother. But this rare drill monkey named Mubi is making the best of the situation by befriending two Jack Russell puppies.

2. Watch a 105-year-old woman throw out the first pitch at a Padres baseball game. Agnes McKee is the oldest person to participate in the ceremonial first pitch, and she killed it. Decked out in a Padres jersey and hat, McKee winds up while holding onto a walker before tossing the ball straight ahead. It wasn't a strike, but it was better than 50 Cent.

3. The Simpsons World website may be the height of human achievement. When the FX network bought exclusive cable rights to The Simpsons, everyone knew something big was coming. Simpsons World, a website that will feature all 552 episodes and a searchable database, has exceeded all expectations.

4. Lost dog reunited with owner 7 years after going missing. A Maltese named Reese went missing from his Tyler home in 2007. Fast forward seven years and 1,800 miles, and a vet in Tacoma, Washington, called Reese's owners after finding a microchip on the dog.

5. A bunch of people turned a San Francisco street into a giant water slide. The hilly streets of San Francisco got a summer makeover when they were transformed into a giant water slide. If you're wondering why people are randomly eating granola in the video, it's because the wet and wild stunt was sponsored by Bear Naked Granola.

David Byrne looks to the sky for new tour with stop in Dallas

Eclectic singer David Byrne has a big 2025 planned, hitting the road for a large tour in support of a new album, including a stop at the Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas on November 28 and 29.

The album, Who Is the Sky? (due out September 5), is Byrne's first new album since 2018’s acclaimed and award-winning American Utopia.

The extensive tour, which will include 26 cities and 43 dates in the U.S, and Canada alone, starts on September 14 in Providence, Rhode Island, running domestically through December 6 before heading abroad for 25 more dates in 2026.

In addition to Dallas, Byrne will go to Austin for two concerts, November 25 and 26.

Byrne, who first came to fame with the band Talking Heads, was omnipresent with American Utopia, which morphed from an album and tour into a Broadway show that was subsequently filmed by Spike Lee for HBO.

On the new album, he is joined by musical friends old and new, including St. Vincent (the Dallas singer with whom he made the 2012 album Love This Giant), Paramore’s Hayley Williams, The Smile drummer Tom Skinner, and American Utopia percussionist Mauro Refosco.

The touring band will comprise 13 musicians, singers, and dancers, including members of the American Utopia band, all of whom will be mobile throughout the set.

Tickets for the tour go on sale on Friday, June 13 at whoisthesky.davidbyrne.com. Fans can sign up for the artist presale, which will begin on Tuesday, June 10 at 10 am ET through Thursday, June 12 at 10 pm.
