The latest event cancellations in Dallas-Fort Worth due to coronavirus concerns

As concerns regarding the spread of the coronavirus and government restrictions on group gatherings continue, more event cancellations, postponements, and reschedulings are being announced every day in Dallas-Fort Worth. In an effort to keep you as up-to-date as possible, we'll compile a list of different announcements every week.
Even though new in-person and virtual events are on the uptick, you may want to check with the presenting organization or venue regarding the status of any particular event to be sure you're up to speed.
Dallas
- Dallas Design Fair: The inaugural shopping showcase for home design, scheduled for September 24-27 at Dallas Market Hall, has been postponed to undetermined dates in 2021.
- Kyle Kinane: The Spring Break Tour: The comedian's date at Texas Theatre, originally scheduled for June 2 and then rescheduled for November 5, has been canceled.
- Tanya Tucker: The country legend, who had previously rescheduled her original March 26 concert at The Kessler to August 27 before postponing again, has now rescheduled the concert for September 17, 2021.
Fort Worth
- Billy Bob's Texas: The music venue has postponed the September 11 concert by Sammy Kershaw to an undetermined date. Cory Morrow, whose own July 24 concert was previously postponed, will now play on September 11.
- Circle Theatre: The theater company's production of 1984, scheduled for October 22-November 21, will not be staged as planned. They are looking into doing an online streaming version, but plans are not yet finalized.
- Casa Mañana: The cabaret-style show Carole Bufford - Come Together: When the '60s Meet the '70s, which was originally scheduled for April 28-May 2, rescheduled to October 6-10, and then moved up to September 15-19, has now been postponed again to undetermined dates in 2021.
- Five Finger Death Punch: This concert, originally scheduled for April 14 at Dickies Arena and then rescheduled for October 11, has now been canceled.
Farmers Branch
- The Firehouse Theatre: The theater company's productions of Amelie, scheduled for September 5-20; Rock of Ages, scheduled for October 1-18; and The 39 Steps, scheduled November 5-15, have all been canceled. The production of Elf the Musical, scheduled December 2-20, is still scheduled for now. They are currently streaming an earlier production of Annie Jr., available through September 30.
Grand Prairie
- REO Speedwagon: This concert, originally scheduled for May 6 at The Theatre at Grand Prairie and then rescheduled for November 9, has been rescheduled again for November 8, 2021.
