Merry and Bright
Everything Dallas kids will love about CultureMap's Holiday Pop-up Shop
CultureMap's Holiday Pop-up Shop returns to Sixty Five Hundred on Sunday, December 2, and this holiday affair is one for the whole family. While Mom and Dad sip seasonal cocktails and shop top Dallas retailers, we've got plenty in store to keep the kiddos merry and bright all afternoon.
Here's a sneak peek at what's in store. Bonus: Kids under 12 get in free.
Snap a holiday photo with Santa
Skip the mall and snap a photo with Santa at the Holiday Pop-up Shop instead. Santa will be at the event from 11:30 am-3:30 pm taking pictures with kids — and listening to their special Christmas wishes, of course.
Get artsy in the kids craft area
Our friends at DFWChild are hosting this craft area for kids only. Children can write letters to Santa and decorate them for a special touch.
Stock up at the Sugarfina candy bar
Nothing's sweeter than this. Not only will Sugarfina be on hand with luxe candy for holiday gifts, but the celebrated shop will set up a candy bar so anyone with a sweet tooth can create a goodie bag (for now or later).
Shop kid-friendly gifts
While the kids are visiting with Santa, parents can stop by kid-friendly vendors — including KidBiz and Madre — in our holiday boutique.
Give back to children in need
In the spirit of the season, Holiday Pop-up Shop guests of all ages are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped toy for The Birthday Party Project, this year's beneficiary. This Dallas-based organization hosts monthly birthday parties for children at homeless and transitional living facilities across the country.
The CultureMap Holiday Pop-up Shop, sponsored by Verizon, Korbel, and Ketel One, runs 12-4 pm on December 2 at Sixty Five Hundred. Two-for-one general admission tickets are available now for $10. Verizon Up Members get free VIP access from 11 am-12 pm, and the first 100 Verizon Up Members can snag a sweet swag bag.
