Country star Sam Hunt brings 'Outskirts' tour to the city with stop in Dallas
Country star Sam Hunt has set the full schedule for his "Summer on the Outskirts Tour," which will make a stop at Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas on Saturday, August 19.
The tour kicks off on July 6 in Hartford, Connecticut and will last a little over two months. traveling to 27 cities across the U.S. In addition to the Dallas date, Hunt will also play in The Woodlands on August 18. He'll be joined by special guests Brett Young and Lily Rose at all stops.
Hunt has been a chart-topper since his debut album, Montevallo, came out in 2014. Named for his wife's hometown in Alabama, that album had No. 1 hits like "Leave the Night On," "Take Your Time," "House Party," and "Make You Miss Me."
It took another six years to release his sophomore album, Southside, in 2020, and fans welcomed him back with four more No. 1 hits - "Body Like a Back Road," "Kinfolks," "Hard to Forget," and "Breaking Up was Easy in the '90s."
Although Hunt has not yet announced his third album, he's released two unattached singles in the past two years, including the No. 1 hit "23."
Tickets for the tour will be available starting with the Verizon presale beginning on Tuesday, March 7. Additional presales will be available throughout the week ahead of the general onsale starting on Friday, March 10 for Dallas and on Friday, March 24 for The Woodlands at samhunt.com.
