Gwyneth Paltrow brings her lifestyle brand back to Dallas with new pop-up
If you missed it the first time, don’t despair, because Goop is coming back to Dallas, only now, it’s at Nordstrom at NorthPark Center. The modern lifestyle brand founded by Gwyneth Paltrow is partnering for the first time with a major retailer and will launch Pop-In@Nordstrom in eight stores across North America. It’s also the first time the brand will have multiple pop-ups at the same time in different markets. Lots of firsts happening here.
“Our pop-ups have been an incredible opportunity to really connect with our readers and shoppers across the country — this partnership with Nordstrom allows us to provide that experience on a heightened level of scale, touching new markets and shoppers in the process,” says Paltrow in a release.
Launching May 12-June 25 both in-store and online, shoppers can expect to find Goop’s own lines of luxury skincare as well as cosmetics from Kjaer Weis and Kosas, and vegan makeup from Phyto-Pigments; Grown Alchemist creams; salts and scrubs from French Girl; aromatherapy and body brushes; meditation pillows and yoga gear; and home products like teapots from Staub Ceramics, rice cookers, steamers, cookware, and more. Each shop will be merchandised as an enclosed living space, with furniture and design by 1st Dibs and custom Chinoiserie wall coverings by Fromental.
The pop-up will also have an emphasis on wellness, which Goop has been focused on in recent months. In March, the brand launched a collection of vitamins (with the help of doctors) called Goop Wellness, and it hit $100,000 in sales on the first day. The brand followed that up with the announcement of its first wellness summit as well as a wellness-focused content partnership with Conde Nast. It would seem that Gwynnie really wants the world to be healthy.
Dallas will be the only Texas city to feature a Goop Pop-In. Outside of Texas, other lucky cities who get to partake in Paltrow’s wellness include Seattle; Los Angeles; Costa Mesa, California; Chicago; Vancouver; and Toronto. As an added treat for Dallas shoppers, renowned beauty editor Jean Godfrey June, who also happens to be Goop’s resident beauty expert, will be on hand at Nordstrom on May 20 to talk clean beauty (see, wellness inside and out) and share the newest tips, tricks, and how-tos.
