Shopping Extravaganza
Top 6 things to do at the 2017 CultureMap Dallas Holiday Pop-up Shop
Who says holiday shopping has to be stressful? At the CultureMap Holiday Pop-up Shop on December 3, there will be so many jolly things to see, do, and buy, that even Santa himself plans to stop by.
Presented by Infiniti, the event is a curated holiday boutique featuring favorite local retailers for men, women, kids, pets, jewelry, gifts, home, and gourmet food and beverages.
That's just the start. You also can enjoy cocktails, festive food, crafting, complimentary gift wrapping, tunes spun by DJ Blake Ward, and more.
Here's a closer look at all the activities that will make the day merry and bright.
Shopping
Gift-buying, of course, is the main event. It's the perfect opportunity to get all your holiday shopping done in one place and support Dallas’ retailers. Vendors will include everything from Dermadeli natural skincare to Urban Spikes succulent arrangements. Here's a complete list of the local retailers you'll be able to shop.
Spirited sips
Be sure to visit the Korbel mimosa bar for plenty of good cheer. Then refuel at the Ketel One cocktail cart, where you'll get to make your own cocktails using fresh, seasonal fruits and herbs.
Festive food
The shopping extravaganza also will feature noshes and nibbles from some of the event partners, as well as food gifts to take home for loved ones. Yummy offerings include We the Birds macarons, Yims Foods pickles, and even SparkleDog Food.
Look good, feel good
Melt your cares away with a mini massage courtesy of Back to Health. Then put your hands together for a manicure by Cherry, the new Dallas-based app that delivers nail services on demand. Want to try out a new holiday 'do? Dear Clark will bring an onsite braid bar, and Gentleman Jack will set up a barbershop for the guys. Complete your look with a makeover by Susan Posnick Cosmetics, then purchase and take home the products you love.
Visit with Santa
Take one last chance to convince Santa you deserve something sparkly under the tree, and then help him remember you with an official photo, presented by Infiniti. Kiddos will be able to practice their skills of persuasion by writing letters to Santa, sponsored by Dallas Child.
Give back
Even better, show Santa you're on the nice list. In the spirit of the holidays, proceeds from the Pop-Up will benefit Ronald McDonald House of Dallas. You can help by bringing a new, unwrapped gift as part of a toy drive for the kids of Ronald McDonald House. As extra incentive, the first 50 guests to bring a gift will receive a Tiff's Treats gift card.
Excited yet? If so, then reserve your free tickets now.
