A new blow dry salon is ready to impress the well-tressed women of North Dallas. Blo Blow Dry Bar will open its newest location at 5915 Forest Lane, at the intersection of Preston, on December 15.

Blo calls itself "the original and largest blow dry bar franchise in North America," and has 15 other salons in Texas. The new Dallas location joins DFW store fronts in the Knox-Henderson neighborhood, Flower Mound, Addison, Las Colinas, and Allen. A location in Southlake says "coming soon" on Blo's website.

“I am very excited to introduce another Blo Blow Dry Bar to the amazing city of Dallas,” says Preston-Forest franchise owner Rameela Asad in a release. “We’ve seen an outstanding response to our DFW area locations, and I know this salon will be the perfect addition for our loyal guests.”

The salons feature a modern, chic interior design and friendly, professional staff who aim to style hair with exceptional customer experience, they say.

"Expertly trained stylists called 'Bloers,' deliver runway ready hair in-bar or offsite for any special event, with a signature blow out starting at just $45," the release says. "Guests choose from our signature styles featured in the Blo Hair Menu, from the razor-straight 'Executive Sweet' to the runway-inspired 'Pillow Talk.'"

Makeup, nail, and waxing services are also available.

“As a working mother, I truly understand the importance of time well spent,” Asad says. “At Blo, we strive to accommodate busy schedules and women on-the-go. Our mission is to provide our customers with a luxurious environment where they can de-stress and ensure their time is used efficiently.”

Blo Preston-Forest hours will be 9 am-7 pm Monday-Thursday, 9 am-8 pm Friday-Saturday, and 11 am-5 pm Sunday. However, it will be open by appointment as early as 7 am Monday through Saturday and as late as 9 pm Friday and Saturday for clients' off-hour beauty needs.

Walk-ins are accepted, and online reservations are available on the website or via an app, which is available for iOS or Android.
