    Where to shop

Where to shop in Dallas right now: 11 must-hit stores for November

    Diana Oates
    Nov 15, 2022 | 2:47 pm

While you may or may not be one to put out your Christmas decorations before Thanksgiving, it is probably smart to start looking at potential holiday presents before Black Friday and Small Business Saturday. This month's roundup of new and favorite shops is filled with festive spirit (and gift ideas). Oh and if you’re a dude, Dallas’ shopping scene is definitely showing up for you this month.

    Anine Bing
This Los Angeles-based fashion house is now open at NorthPark Center on level one just outside of Nordstrom. Inspired by Scandinavian simplicity and American energy, the brand focuses on everyday wardrobe essentials and investment pieces. They offer complimentary styling consultations, gift boxing with any purchase, phone orders, and expedited local shipping.

    Buck Mason
Buck Mason started with a very simple goal — to build the perfect T-shirt. Since this Los Angeles-based brand’s inception, meticulous construction has led to a full line of men’s and women’s clothing dubbed modern American classics. This is the only North Texas store, and it is in NorthPark Center on level one between Nordstrom and Macy’s.

    Hari Mari
The Dallas-based company known for comfortable and colorful flip-flops has launched its first women’s boot just in time for cooler temps. Named “Midland,” this premium suede boot allows for easy slip on and slip off. It is offered in autumn, taupe, and black, and sells for $170 at the Dallas flagship, online, and in stores where Hari Mari is sold.

    Hive & Colony
This bespoke menswear line is redefining the way men dress and is transforming garments, shoes, and accessories into custom pieces that can be treasured forever. The brand recently opened its only Texas location in NorthPark Center on level one, between Macy’s and Nordstrom. Styling starts by getting measured via the state-of-the-art 3D body scanner. It takes 300 measurements and draws a diagram to illustrate posture, pose, and stance in a matter of seconds.

    James Avery Artisan Jewelry
The iconic Texas-based, family-owned jewelry retailer is not slowing down, having just opened a new store in MacArthur Park in Irving. Shop charms, statement rings, and a wide selection of keepsake collections (such as the fun collab with Whataburger, another iconic Texas brand.) Fans love the selection of women’s and men's jewelry crafted from 14K and 18K gold, sterling silver, bronze, and a variety of gemstones.

    Kendra Scott
Texas-based Kendra Scott is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2022 with an exclusive new collection and more. Their first men's watches were also recently introduced as part of the Scott Bros. by Kendra Scott men's line. From modern to takes on timeless time pieces, the watches are made with fine materials such as stainless steel and leather, and are priced starting at $110.

La Vie Style House x Over the Moon
A one-size-fits-all bridal collection? If anyone can pull this off, it's Dallas-based La Vie Style House. This inaugural collection features 21 pieces and is carried exclusively at online wedding destination Over the Moon. The line has looks for brides, bridesmaids, mother of the bide, and even stylish guest looks. Prices range from $600 to $3,000.

    Mashburn
After the oh-so-sophisticated couple Sid and Ann Mashburn established themselves in Dallas over the last seven years, the couple now welcomes shoppers to their new 4,200-square-foot store at 4615 Cole Ave. The Sid Mashburn side features an open-air tailor shop and a dedicated made-to-measure area, while the Ann Mashburn side features a dedicated shoe and accessories parlor. Both sides continue to carry the collections that Dallas faithful have grown to know and love from the boutique.

    Scanlan Theodore
This iconic women’s brand, founded in 1987, is now open at NorthPark Center on level one, between Nordstrom and Neiman Marcus. The first-in-Texas boutique features ready-to-wear, as well as accessories including bags, eyewear, shoes, belts, jewelry, and scarves. In a world where fashion sometimes seems abstract, the Scanlan Theodore woman stands out as a modern classic.

    Stitch Golf
New at Inwood Village (5560 W. Lovers Ln. #245), Stitch Golf's first Dallas store is a destination for golfers and those who love them. It's filled with high-performance apparel, travel bags, and of course, golf gear. The vintage motorsports-inspired golf brand has a cool backstory, too: Their CEO actually met the founder when he coached his high school golf team in 1991 – they reconnected later, and Stitch Golf was officially founded in 2012.

    Vuori
Have you found yourself in Dallas with a West Coast vibe? Meet this new, feel-good, technical clothing company at NorthPark Center on level one between Nordstrom and Macy’s. If you’re an active person who digs conscious brands putting out cool clothes, you'll love their shorts, tops, sweatshirts, joggers, and more.

World Cup hat, sure to be the summer's hottest accessory.

FIFA World Cup hats are sure to be the hottest fashion accessory of summer in Dallas, and now getting one is as easy as buying a Dr Pepper.

Vending machines dispensing officially licensed FIFA merchandise have been installed at two Dallas-Fort Worth shopping centers:

    • Shops at Legacy East in Plano, near Half Shells (7201 Bishop Rd #E4, Plano)
    • Southlake Town Square in Southlake, located in the breezeway next to Rowan (1426 Civic Pl, Southlake)

Unless you have high-priced tickets to the games, these are sure to be the most convenient way to purchase tournament-themed souvenirs and apparel around the clock, in person.

According to a release, the machines will be available 24 hours a day through August 1, 2026.

They are stocked with officially licensed FIFA World Cup 2026 items including hats, scarves, mascot figurines, necklaces, collectible souvenirs, and other fan gear.

According to the FIFA website, hats run about $35-$45, mascot plushes are $35, and a Lego FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Trophy is $325.

The installations are among the first of their kind at North Texas retail centers and arrive as anticipation continues to build for the FIFA World Cup's return to the United States.

"As North Texas prepares to welcome fans from around the world, the merchandise machines offer visitors an early chance to join the excitement and celebrate the growing soccer energy sweeping across the region," says the release.

Dallas-Fort Worth is expected to be one of the tournament's busiest host regions, welcoming hundreds of thousands of visitors (or more) from around the globe, beginning in early June.

Nine FIFA World Cup matches (more than in any other host city) will be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, dubbed "Dallas Stadium," for the tournament. They will start with Netherlands vs. Japan on June 14, followed by England vs. Croatia on June 17, Argentina vs. Austria on June 22, Japan vs. Sweden on June 25, and Jordan vs. Argentina on June 27.

The stadium will also host two Round of 32 matches (June 30 and July 3), one Round of 16 match (July 6), and one Semi-Final match (July 14).
