Fancy furniturer MillerKnoll opens first-of-its-kind showroom in Dallas

MillerKnoll has a new showroom in Dallas, the first of its kind.
A new showroom combining two iconic furniture design names has opened in Dallas: MillerKnoll, the umbrella company under which the Herman Miller and Knoll brands operate, has opened its first showroom incorporating both the Herman Miller and Knoll brands together.
The Dallas showroom is located at 2800 McKinney Ave. and according to a release is the company's first space to organically combine those brands together in one dynamic space since Herman Miller aquired Knoll in 2021.
"When we brought together Herman Miller and Knoll, our brand expertise, product portfolio, and design capabilities grew substantially. With our new home in Dallas, we can help our clients envision, plan, and build inspiring spaces," says MillerKnoll CEO Andi Owen. "Now, clients can experience the best of our collective in one spectacular setting, unlocking a world of design possibilities."
The nearly 14,000 square-foot space, which was previously home to the Herman Miller and Maharam showrooms, was redesigned to feature dedicated suites for the Herman Miller and Knoll brands alongside a MillerKnoll environment with brand expressions from DatesWeiser, FilzFelt, Geiger, HAY, Muuto, and NaughtOne. The space will also feature products from Knoll Textiles, Edelman, Maharam, and Spinneybeck.
According to the release, the Knoll presentation draws inspiration from its tree-lined location on McKinney Avenue featuring a green color palette for a seamless transition from outdoor setting to indoor design. In keeping with the new look of Knoll spaces, primary and secondary colors are prioritized, making it easy for clients to consider how furniture and interiors can be customized.
"When setting the agenda for the new Knoll Dallas showroom, it was important to consider the local market, and how Knoll's approach to planning, furnishings, and CMF (Colors, Materials, Finish) relates to and enables interiors in the region," says company VP Jonathan Olivares. “The showroom demonstrates a real working environment, with adjacencies planned in consideration of each other, and displays the latest planning paradigms reflecting Knoll's ability to address evolving workplace needs."
The showroom is open for scheduled customer tours beginning Monday, September 18. Contract clients and prospective buyers can contact their MillerKnoll sales representative to arrange a tour.
The MillerKnoll brand portfolio includes Herman Miller, Knoll, Colebrook Bosson Saunders, DatesWeiser, Design Within Reach, Edelman, Geiger, HAY, Holly Hunt, Knoll Textiles, Maars Living Walls, Maharam, Muuto, NaughtOne, and Spinneybeck|FilzFelt.
In 2021, Herman Miller opened a store dedicated to performance seating and home office solutions at 3107 Knox St. The store is an "experiential" concept that allows customers to test-drive Herman Miller products and experience the benefits of sitting well first-hand.
