Downtown Shopping
Get all of your holiday shopping done at this downtown Dallas pop-up
Attention, Dallas shoppers. Downtown pop-up Unbranded is entering its fourth session (of five), which means a few more local brands to explore. And you have only a little while longer to check it out, as the store wraps up its temporary run on December 20.
The unique concept, dreamed up by local entrepreneurs Matt Alexander (Need, Foremost) and Bryan DeLuca (Foot Cardigan), offers rent-free retail space to a rotating assortment of local makers and creatives, at 1600 Commerce St., across from Neiman Marcus. Starting December 10, you can shop the following clothing, accessories, and giftables:
- Allettare
- Bodega Negra
- City+Sky
- Cykochik
- HCT Threads
- Hipster Baby
- Lounge County
- Mad Macs
- Mobley Denim
- Postcode
- Season Two
- Sunshine Tienda
Visit these exhibitors in addition to permanent folks Need, Foremost, Foot Cardigan, and The Citizenry. Participating artists include Caris Fawcett, Tiffany McAnarney, and Kyle Steed.
Every week there is a fun party trick, and this time Unbranded sponsor Downtown Dallas Inc. is hosting a pet photo booth and a screening of Christmas Vacation on Sunday, December 13.
Unbranded started last year as a temporary shop on Elm Street in Deep Ellum. This year, the pop-up is bigger — both in square footage and in number of exhibitors.
If you’d rather work than shop, Dallas Entrepreneur Center is providing free coworking space, with furniture courtesy of Herman Miller. Roam is providing touchscreens, and Wi-Fi also will be available onsite.
Unbranded hours are Thursday-Sunday, 11 am-7 pm, and it stays open late on Thursdays for happy hours. This week, that happy hour is brought to you by Mend, and it runs from 5-9 pm. The final session starts December 17.
