    You can get away with being a relationship loser all year long. You can forget their birthday, not take a bath for a week, and go for months without saying the obligatory I Love You.

    Because you can make up for all that oversight merely by making a Valentine's Day dinner reservation. With one simple meal, you can show your loved one, not to mention the world, that you are not a romantic deadbeat. Restaurants are waiting to enable you with meals for two, chocolate desserts, and bottles of Champagne at a great, great price.

    Here are your options for dining out Valentine's Day. All events are February 14 unless otherwise noted.

    Bird Café

    Fearing's
    Four course menu at Ritz-Carlton restaurant begins with king crab on brioche; lobster coconut bisque with Thai pork dumpling; roasted heirloom beet variations; poached Maine lobster; and scallop and truffles with artichokes.     Dallas restaurants are almost always open and ready to serve, with one exception: Christmas Day, a day that sees most close. But the restaurants on this list are the exception: Dallas restaurants that are open on Christmas Day — a true blessing for diners seeking a festive meal.
