UPDATE 8-16-2021: Ace's Sports Hangar is now open.

A new bar is joining the bustling CityLine complex in Richardson, boasting a sporty twist. A sporty spice. Called Ace's Sports Hangar, it's a new and original concept that will provide a fresh approach to bar fare in a modern setting, and will open in summer 2018.
Ace’s Sports Hangar will be located at 1250 State Street, next to Edoko Sushi and Robata. The restaurant will span 2,500 square feet, with large garage doors that open to a spacious patio, providing a unique industrial setting to watch sports, fights, and play trivia.
The menu will include a mix of shareable appetizers and American grill fare. There'll be nachos, wings, sliders, catfish, sandwiches, and salads. There will also be a full bar serving craft cocktails, beer, and wine.
President of Ace's Sports Hangar is William Kuhn, who also owns Addison Point Bar & Grill and Sachse Ice House. He has expertise in this field.
"Ace’s Sports Hangar will be a welcoming environment where guests can enjoy a quick lunch, happy hour with coworkers, or a dinner date with friends,” Kuhn says in a release. "With entertainment ranging from poker nights to live trivia, karaoke, and guest DJs, we will offer something for everyone."
CityLine marketing director Jessica Robertson says that Ace's summer opening is well timed, and their late-night hours will be customer-friendly. They'll be open daily from 11 am-2 am.
"Ace's will be the perfect spot to relax and cool off with a beverage when they open this summer, just in time to watch football games," she says. "We are very excited to have Ace’s Sports Hangar debut at CityLine and continue growing our food and beverage offerings with unique concepts, adding another great late-night option for guests."
