These are the latest Dallas restaurants to reopen after coronavirus closure
It's time for another round of Dallas restaurants, reopening following the March shutdown wrought by the coronavirus pandemic.
A first batch opened as soon as they could on May 1, and more are coming on board.
All are observing COVID-19 precautions such as cleaning and sanitizing, social distancing practices with guests spaced 6 feet apart, and staff wearing masks and gloves.
Here is the latest round of reopenings:
Buffalo Wild Wings will reopen all Texas dining rooms on May 20, in consultation with federal, state, and local guidelines including social distancing; single-use, disposable menus and condiments; and single-use cutlery and beverage cups.
Food trucks are back at Klyde Warren Park. Starting Monday, food trucks will be back in the park for the first time in two months. They usually have about 18 trucks, according to NBC 5, but they'll have half as many as usual, with the trucks taking turns. Staggering their schedules will give them more space and guarantee social distancing in the lines.
Cane Rosso, the Neapolitan-style pizza chain, has reopened its dining rooms for limited in-house dining at its six locations (Deep Ellum, White Rock, Frisco, Carrollton, Arlington, Fort Worth). Reservations are encouraged. They're still doing curbside pickup, online ordering, and Uber Eats delivery, with family-size pastas and half off bottles of wine for both in-house dining and delivery.
Hooters has announced that they have safely reopened more than 150 restaurants nationwide, for dine-in service, in accordance with local and state mandates and guidelines, while continuing to offer takeout, curbside pick-up and delivery options. They are requiring team members to wear gloves and face coverings at all times (with gloves being replaced after each guest interaction); they also ask that guests follow local and state mandates regarding face coverings. They're conducting daily team member wellness screenings, including temperature checks. To see if your local Hooters is reopening, visit hooters.com/locations.
