Trefethen Family Vineyards wine dinner at The Grape
Chef de cuisine Sarah Snow features an intimate three-course bistro menu to complement selected wines from the this Napa winery. Special guest host is Morgan Wilson with Republic. Reservations are recommended for this event, which is from 5:30-9 pm, are available by calling 214-828-1981. Cost is $52 per person.
Holiday Top Ten Wine Dinner at Whole Foods Lakewood
What better way to get in the holiday spirit than with a dinner celebrating the top wines at Whole Foods? Courses include tomato essence with prosciutto tea sandwiches, frisèe salad with julienned butternut squash and pomegranate vinaigrette, roast beef with sauce béarnaise, and more. Tickets are $40 and dinner starts at 6 pm.

Holiday Tequila Social at Mi Cocina Lakewood
At this unique tasting event, you will not only get to sip hand-crafted holiday cocktails featuring Herradura Tequila, but you can get a sneak peek at one of Mi Cocina’s new 2016 menu items, the chile relleno de camaron. One hundred percent of the of the $75 ticket benefits the Lakewood Service League. The event starts at 7 pm.

Old Chicago Pizza & Taproom First Birthday Party
To commemorate the benchmark, the restaurant is having live music, giveaways, and more surprises. As a "thank you" to its loyal customers for being Old Chicago fans since day one, the Colorado-based restaurant is giving three lucky guests the chance to win a year of free handmade, deep dish, mouth-watering pizzas. Noche Buena Cooking Class at Stephan Pyles

Christmas Party at the Truck Yard
Beginning at 2 pm and running until 11 pm, the first 50 guests who bring in a new, unwrapped toy for the toy drive receive a free cheesesteak sandwich. At 7:30 pm, Eddie Zanetti "The Dwarf Guy" arrives, and at 9 pm you can partake in an ugly Christmas sweater contest for a chance to win a $200 Truck Yard gift card. Trigger's Toys at Henry's Majestic
This charitable pop-up event unites bartenders, brands, distributors, and consumers to benefit a worthwhile cause. Started by Bryan Townsend and now in its fifth year, Trigger's Toys hopes to raise $150,000 to help kids in hospitals. Around 100 bartenders are contributing their time and talent in five different teams and concepts. The event starts at 8 pm and tickets are $25 in advance, $30 at the door. Advance purchased tickets score you two free drink tickets.
