This week also brings the official start of DFW Restaurant Week, where diners can indulge in a multi-course meal for a good cause. DFW Restaurant Week
The 2023 edition of the annual dine-out fundraiser is underway, with the official “week” running now through August 13. Patrons can indulge in a pre-set, multicourse dinner for $49 – a bargain for some of Dallas’ priciest establishments like Al Biernat's, Nick & Sam’s, and Perle on Maple. A two-course lunch option is available for $24. There are nearly 80 restaurants in the Dallas area participating in the 26th annual event, which benefits Lena Pope and the North Texas Food Bank. Cane Rosso + Lockwood Distilling Dinner
The fan-favorite Neapolitan pizza destination will host a rare cocktail pairing dinner, partnering with local Lockwood Distilling Co. The four-course meal will include mini chicken and waffles with bacon marmalade, Caprese salad, shrimp and grits, the Billy Ray Valentine pizza, and hibiscus tres leches cake. All courses will come with a unique Lockwood cocktail. Tickets are $70, plus tax and a small fee, and the dinner begins at 7 pm.

Bad Moms Brunch at Chido Taco Lounge
The countdown is on for the kids to get back to school, and Chido Taco Lounge is ready to welcome weary moms for a boozy, mid-week brunch. The Frisco restaurant will serve its usual weekend brunch on Wednesday, including breakfast nachos, breakfast tacos, huevos rancheros, and churro French toast. There’ll also be discounted drinks, like $3 mimosas, $5 margaritas, and $25 mimosa towers. Brunch will be served from 11 am-2 pm.

The Explorer Series at Tango Room: Bourbon Classics
The next installment of the Tango Room’s Explorer Series will feature iconic bourbon cocktails, including the Old Fashioned, Manhattan, and Whiskey Sour. The three-drink flight will be accompanied by a chef’s selection of small bites. (Make reservations for dinner afterwards and enjoy a 20 percent discount.) The tasting is $115, plus tax, and begins at 6 pm.
Jeni’s Victory Park Grand Opening Party
