Where to celebrate New Year's Eve 2022 at these Dallas restaurants
Here comes the end of 2022, and it's none too soon to start making plans for its exit. In fact, plans should probably be made ASAP. It's only five days away. What are you waiting for, other than this list of New Year's Eve events being hosted by restaurants (mostly) around Dallas.
There are festivities of all kinds, from a no-charge-at-the-door groovy wine bar toast to an over-the-top meal that costs $495 per head. Something for every speed to say Goodbye 2022 and Hello 2023. Here's where to dine out on New Year's Eve in Dallas:
Barcelona Wine Bar. Henderson Avenue boite will serve tapas and complimentary midnight cava toast. No tickets or door charge. 5 pm-12 am. 469-862-8500.
Bar Louie. No cover charge for live music, party favors, and a kitchen open late. 10 am–2 am. Dallas 469-638-8050, Las Colinas 469-472-1050.
Beeman Hotel. DJ, cocktails, eats from Seely’s Mill, and complimentary sparkling wine toast. Free to RSVP. Beverages and food available to order include wings, pulled pork nachos, brisket, and marinated portabella tostadas. 9:30 pm-1:30 am. Reservations online.
Bulla Gastrobar. 4-course menu includes complimentary toast at midnight with choices from tuna tartare, manchego & serrano, salmon carpaccio, ham croquettes, cannelloni, montaditos, garlic shrimp, steak, truffle carbonara, arroz caldoso, solomillo with blue cheese sauce, churros con chocolate, flan de coco, or almond cake. 5 pm-12 am. $65.
Canvas Dallas Hotel. "A Night in Hollywood" extravaganza includes midnight champagne toast, party favors, and snack bar with views of Reunion Tower. $100. 9:30 pm. Reservations online.
Carbone Dallas. Menu includes truffle tortellini, crab claws, burrata & caviar, Caesar salad, spicy rigatoni vodka, prawns diavolo, lemon cheesecake, chocolate hazelnut praline. $295. Reservations run from 6-10:30 pm and can be made online.
Carbone Vino. Family-style celebration includes frutti di mare, seafood crudo, pizza, pasta, and desserts. 5-11 pm. Reservations online.
CBD Provisions. 3-course menu with glass of sparkling wine includes choices from oysters, blue crab pasta, and flat iron steak. $75.
Commons Club. 4-course dinner and champagne toast at Virgin Dallas Hotel restaurant offers two seatings: 7 pm for $135 or 9:30 pm for $175.
Dakota's Steakhouse. 3-course dinner features choices from crab & bone marrow campanelle, Wagyu beef tartare, cacio e pepe risotto, Prime NY strip, lambchops with sourdough bread stuffing, striped bass with crab and lobster butter, 32-oz porterhouse for two with aligot potatoes & brocollini, coconut-passion fruit cream pie, gold chocolate mousse cake with hazelnut toffe, or panna cotta with candied lemons. 5 pm-12 am. $150, with $50 deposit required to secure the reservation.
Eataly Dallas. Afternoon of endless bites and bubbly from 4-8 pm features storewide festivities to celebrate the new year, including Italian wines, pasta prepared in a Parmigiano Reggiano wheel, oysters, shrimp cocktail, cheeses, and cured meats. "Midnight toast" at 5 pm (aka midnight in Italy) with Ferrari Brut and panettone. Early bird tickets are $25 and include tickets to enjoy three stations. Reservations online.
Eddie V's. Two New Year's Eve options include dinner or festivities, the nature of which they do not say. 469-268-3758.
El Bolero. 3-course menu includes choices from smoked salmon carpaccio, butternut squash soup, prime filet with potatoes and asparagus, Chilean sea bass with heirloom tomatoes & avocado, pork chop with Bruzzels sprouts, chocolate-guava cake, or bunuelo with strawberry jam. $75, plus wine pairings. Ellie’s Dallas. Special menu features choices from kale Caesar, prawn salad, porcini mushroom soup, bruschetta board, Diver scallops, beef Wellington, ribeye, duck, parsnip-black truffle ricotta ravioli, flourless chocolate cake, and Meyer lemon zabaglione tart. Prices a la carte. 5-10 pm.
Elm & Good. 5-course menu available for two seatings: 6 pm for $85, with complimentary glass of bubbles, and 8:30 pm for $125, which includes caviar and white truffle enhancements, two glasses of bubbles, and live music through 12:30 am. Reservations via OpenTable.

The Finch. Special menu features shrimp & grits with jalapeño bacon or black Angus prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes. Complimentary champagne toast at midnight. 5–11 pm. 469-893-0990.
Harper’s Steakhouse. 4-course menu, $75, or $150 with wine pairing. 4–11 pm. 469-998-0013.
Hawthorn. 4-course menu includes choices from Picasso roll, shishito pepper, pepper & goat cheese salad, tomato soup, Prime ribeye, miso soy cod with bok choy, truffle mushroom penne, rotisserie chicken, champagne cake, or chocolate fondue. $125. 6-10 pm. Reserve on OpenTable.
The Henry. St. Henry Winter Wonderland New Year’s Eve Party features buffet, DJs, and complimentary champagne. (Open Table says it includes "passed appetizers, heavy hor's douvres." Surely they mean "hors d'oeuvre"?) 8 pm-1 am. $50, or $60 at the door.
LAW at Las Colinas Resort. 5-course meal includes squash mille-feuille, Dover sole, Arrowhead Ranch filet, Japanese A5 Wagyu, Banoffee flambe, and glass of champagne. $155. 5-11 pm. 972-717-2420.
Le Meridien Dallas, The Stoneleigh. 5-course dinner at Perle on Maple, with bottle of Champagne Madame Zero includes scallops with Tuscan white bean ragout, passion fruit, salad with pears, spiced pecans, & Maytag bleu cheese, filet mignon, BBQ shrimp, caramelized onion-bacon mashed potatoes, French beans, and chocolate stout cake. 9 pm-1 am. $125-$200. Lexy's. Dinner, open bar from 7 pm-12 am, champagne toast at midnight, raffle. VIP tickets get a booth for 6-8, magnum of champagne, gift card, and raffle tickets. 7 pm-1 am. Tickets range from $150-$275. For VIP, email reservations@lexysdallas.com.
Miriam Cocina Latina. 4-course menu with complimentary champagne toast includes cheese empanada, spinach salad with black beans & blue cheese, ribeye with blue cheese, mahi mahi, Impossible chile en Nogada, chocolate cake with Mexican vanilla ice cream, or Mexican style bread pudding. 5-11 pm. $70. 214-855-5275.
Perry's Steakhouse. 3-course menu with choice of soup or salad, entrée, and dessert, from lobster bisque, Caesar, white bean chili, NY strip, ribeye, pork chop, spaghetti squash primavera, pumpkin cheesecake, flourless chocolate cake, and more. $75 before 5:30 pm, $85 after 5:45 pm, plus limited dinner menu is available.
Roots Southern Table. 6-course dinner with cocktails and wine, including option for zero-proof wine includes smoked trout, cheese ravioli, and curried chicken; vegetarian option also available. Three seatings between 5:30-6:30 pm. $250.
Saint Rocco's New York Italian. Open bar, live music, and buffet from 7-10 pm featuring bread and rolls, Caesar salad, arugula salad, Caprese salad, bruschetta with shrimp, yellow tomato, tomato, basil, roasted pepper, & artichoke, Italian meats, cheeses, black eyed peas, chicken parmesan, salmon, baked ziti with sausage & portabella mushroom, filet on polenta, mixed vegetables, herb cavatappi pasta, cheesecake, cannoli, tiramisu, and pie. 7:30 pm-12:30 am. Sassetta. 4-course feast accompanied by Champagne-sponsored bar by Champagne Lallier includes truffle mushroom arancini, prawns, and passionfruit tiramisu. $140.
Sidecar Social. DJs, dancing, and champagne toast at midnight with appetizers available for purchase. $10. Special $75 package includes reserved seating, exclusive appetizers, and two drinks. 9 pm-1 am. Tickets online.
Sloane's Corner. 3-course dinner includes choices from Wagyu beef tartare with black truffles, raviolo with herb ricotta & white truffle, sea urchin risotto with lobster, scallops, duck breast, Australian Wagyu, and assorted petite fours including dark chocolate tart and pumpkin cheesecake, plus complimentary glass of champagne and party favors. 5 pm-12 am. $95. 214-484-1395.

Tango Room. 8-course menu includes sbagliato, caviar with potato chips, lobster & caviar, white truffle, scallop, uni & A5 Wagyu, NY strip (with crab scampi, Brussels sprouts, pomme puree), and dark chocolate mousse with caramel and chocolate sable. $495. 214-252-8595.
Terra. Restaurant at Eataly Dallas is doing a a five-course feast at the greenery-filled restaurant with beef cheek agnolotti, lamb with braised lentils & mascarpone mashed potato, plus dessert buffet and panettone. 5 pm seating, $99, 8 pm seating, $129.
TK's. Comedy club New Year’s Eve bash includes two options: general admission with four drinks, midnight Champagne toast, two hours of passed hors d’oeuvres, and midnight pizza party, $150; or VIP with all of the above, plus open bar, exclusive Speakeasy Lounge, dinner buffet, and priority seating for the comedy show, $250. Villa Azur. Special a la carte menu includes Wagyu beef, Akaushi Beef ribeye, seafood tower, caviar, pȃtes a la meule, and pasta served tableside in a wheel of parmesan cheese and flambéed with cognac. Seatings from 5-10:30 pm, $195, or $400 for NYE festivities. Reservations required. 214-389-2602.
