Lee Park Juniors light up Arlington Hall to launch fantastic fundraising year
Lee Park Junior Conservancy hosted its annual winter membership party at Arlington Hall to ready the troops for an impactful year on the Dallas young professional scene.
Guest arrived to find their beloved Arlington Hall decked out with lighting and décor by Events Moderne; in fact, the room was literally glowing thanks to cocktail glasses and other items from Public Light USA. All of that helped set the mood, as did the smooth sounds of DJ Jose of Future Events.
The primary purpose for the event was to give new members an opportunity to get acquainted with current ones, but guests — including Kirsten Williams, Derek Noble, Britta Noble, Corinne Poole, Jordan Bowles, Houston Waring and Peyton Shea — also got some important details about the signature annual event, Day at the Races. Current members were entered to win a pair of tickets to the award-winning derby-themed affair set for May 2.
LPJC president Marty Cude also spoke about the Lee Park Conservancy and Junior Conservancy and everything they do to improve the Dallas community. In one year alone, they celebrated the 75th anniversary of Arlington Hall, opened a ramp linking Lee Park to the Katy Trail and constructed the Judy Goff Pittman Flower Garden.
